Production Process
Aluminum powder is obtained by grinding pure aluminum ingots, using atomization or mechanical processes. During production, particle sizes and shapes are adjusted as needed to suit specific applications.
Electrolysis and Purification
Alumina obtained from bauxite is converted into liquid aluminum by electrolysis. This process, known as the Hall-Héroult method, is carried out in large electrolysis cells. Aluminum ions separate under electric current and are collected in liquid form at the cathode.
Casting and Shaping
